Auer gains 200th career victory
COLUMBIANA — It was a night for a milestone for Crestview volleyball coach Alisha Auer.
The Rebel coach earned her 200th career match victory as her team knocked off Wheeling Linsly 25-11, 25-10, 25-11 on Tuesday.
Auer has been head coach of her alma mater for 13 seasons (2004-08 and 2010-17).
For the Rebels, MacKenzie Daub had 18 kills and three blocks. Amelia Montgomery had six aces, four digs and 20 points. Haley Eskra had 22 assists, nine points, two aces and three digs.
Crestview’s jayvee team won 25-8, 25-10. Krista Perry had 15 points, four aces and a block. Madison Wick had five kills and four points.

Canton South 0
BELOIT — West Branch’s volleyball team made short work of Canton South in a 25-19, 25-13, 25-8 victory on Tuesday.
West Branch is 6-6 overall and 2-3 in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference.
Elise Wallace had 15 points, 12 assists, seven kills and six aces for Branch. Delaney Rito had 10 kills, while Grace Heath had 13 points and seven kills. Anna Menegay had six blocks.
West Branch won the jayvee portion, 25-12, 25-12. Josie Mellott had 12 points. Jordan Anderson added five kills.
TORONTO — Southern completed the first time through the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference slate unbeaten with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-9 win over Toronto on Tuesday.
Southern is 9-0 and 7-0 in the league.
For the Indians, Lizzie Willis had 13 points and 10 kills. Anna Sevek had 14 kills and two blocks. Riley Felton had four kills and three blocks. Hanna Hayes had 11 points and 32 assists. Alivia Brothers had 12 digs, while Stella KArcher had three kills.
Wellsville won the jayvee match, 25-9, 24-26, 25-7. For the Indians, Cheyenne Utt had a five kills. Tiffany Joy had nine points, while Alexis Rhodes had 13 points.
Southern is at Leetonia on Thursday.
COLUMBIANA — Emily Gosselin shad 25 service points, including eight aces, in guiding Columbiana past Leetonia, 25-11, 25-5, 25-12, Tuesday.
For the Clippers, Morgan Highley added nine points, two aces, five kills and five digs; Harmony Offenburg seven kills; Alexis Cross four kills and one ace; and Gosselin 14 assists, two kills and five digs.
For Leetonia, Emma Kemp had four kills and eight digs; Brea Moore nine digs; Brianna Luttmers four digs, four assists and one ace; and Elyssa Jones five digs and four assists.
Columbiana also won the junior varsity match, 25-10, 25-15. Grace Witmer had 14 points and seven aces and Marissa Makosky service points, five aces and two kills for the Clippers.
The Clippers will host Lowellville today.
United 3, East Palestine 1
EAST PALESTINE — United spiked East Palestine 25-15, 25-18, 22-25, 25-14 on Monday in EOAC play.
For the Eagles (7-2, 6-1), Camryn Jarrett had 33 kills, while Cameron Pierson had 40 assists. Hanna Richey chipped in five kills and four aces. Hannah Mix had 16 digs.
For East Palestine (5-5, 3-4), Jenn Rhodes had six kills, eight points and 18 digs. Marlaina Frye had six kills, four points, 19 digs and six assists. Madee Foster had six kills, 22 digs and seven points. Madyson Pickett had 16 assists, three kills and three points.
East Palestine won the jayvee match 25-21, 25-14. Morgan Cheurco had seven points and seven assists.
Wellsville 3, Lisbon 0
LISBON — Wellsville got back on track with a 25-20, 25-16, 25-17 victory over Lisbon on Monday.
For Wellsville, Delaney Cochran had 10 kills, Kinley Martin seven kills, Emily Russell 22 assists and Peyton Davidson 10 points. Emily Skinner had five blocks and three kills.
For Lisbon, Maddie Liberati had 12 kills and 17 digs. Hailee Carpenter had 17 digs and Alivia Leyman had 14 digs.
Lisbon won the jayvee match, 21-25, 25-13, 25-20. Callie Steed had five kills and eight digs for the Devils.
For Wellsville Greta Cartwright had 19 assists.
