HANOVERTON–United won all three singles matches on the way to a 3-2 win over East Palestine Wednesday.

The Eagles improve to 2-10 overall and host McDonald on Monday.

FIRST SINGLES: Grace Maroscher (U) def. Isabella McLaughlin, 6-1, 6-0.

SECOND SINGLES: Frankie Heffinger (U) def. Christina Adams, 6-4, 6-0.

THIRD SINGLES: Lauren Hippely (U) def. Trinity Schneider, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.

FIRST DOUBLES: Reanna Bell-Alisha Dean (EP) def. Hannah Baker-Julia Bricker, 6-0, 6-0.

SECOND DOUBLES: Emily Siracuse-Olivia Semon (EP) def. Olivia Hippely-Erica Gudat, 6-0, 6-0.

Salem 3, United 1

HANOVERTON–Salem beat United 3-1 in a rain-shortened match on Tuesday.

The second doubles match between Salem’s Emma Kelly and Alexis Lawton and Uniteds Olivia Hippely and Erica Gudat was called due to rain with the Quakers up 6-2 after the first set.

FIRST SINGLES: Grace Maroscher (U) def. Elena Economous, 6-0, 6-1.

SECOND SINGLES: Paige Sanor (S) def. Hannah Baker, 6-3, 6-1.

THIRD SINGLES: Chloe Chappell (S) def. Julia Bricker, 6-2, 6-0.

FIRST DOUBLES: Natalie Slepski-Courtney Whitman (S) def. Frankie Heffinger-Lauren Hippely, 6-4, 6-1.
