Blue Devils run over Tigers
NEW MIDDLETOWN –Alexis Hughes had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead Western Reserve to a 61-52 win over Springfield on Thursday.
Kennedy Miller added 11 points, three assists and three steals. Western Reserve is 6-0.
Laura Sigworth had 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
Haley LaMorticella had 13 points for the Tigers.
The Blue Devils host Waterloo on Monday.
Western Reserve won the jayvee portion, 42-16. Olivia Pater had 13 points for the Devils.

SEBRING — Lowellville defeated Sebring 48-25 on Thursday in Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference action.
Olivia Woods and Olivia Reggi had eight points each for the Trojans.

TORONTO — Lisbon’s girls went on the road and came through with a 48-27 win over Toronto on Thursday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference action.
Izzy Perez had 14 points, five assists and five steals for the Devils, 4-2, 3-1.
Maddie Liberati added 13 points and six rebounds. Autumn Oehlstrom had six steals.
Lisbon won the jayvee game, 27-26. Callee Steed had eight points and scored the game-winning basket with 4.8 seconds left. Corinne Freeman had nine points.
Lisbon hosts Leetonia on Monday.
