South Range records 10th victory of season

ASHVILLE — South Range captured its second game of the Teays Valley Holiday Tournament with a 44-43 win over Div. I Circleville on Saturday.

Dani Vuletich led the Raiders (10-1) with 12 points. Maddie Durkin added 10 points off the bench.

South Range’s jayvees were also 45-38 winners over Circleville. Emily Irons had 15 points for the Raiders.

EAST LIVERPOOL — A furious comeback in the fourth quarter helped East Liverpool’s girls basketball team break its 32-game losing skid on Saturday.

The Potters outscored East Palestine by 15 in the fourth quarter to record a 49-44 victory.

East Liverpool is 1-10 on the season.

East Liverpool was led by Mikayla Reed’s 15 points. Ciara Peachey had 12 points.

Marlaina Frye had 15 points for the Bulldogs.

LISBON –Alexis Hughes had 18 points and six rebounds to lead Western Reserve past Lisbon 57-45 on Saturday.

Kennedy Miller added 15 points and four assists for the winners.

Maddie Liberati had 12 points and nine rebounds for Lisbon, 5-4.

Chloe Smith added 11 points and four assists, while Autumn Oehlstrom had 10 points and four steals.

Western Reserve won the jayvee portion 57-10. Morgan Donathin had 15 points for the winners.

Lisbon hosts Wellsville on Thursday.
