1,000 points for Clipper junior

COLUMBIANA — Columbiana junior guard Kayla Muslovski has had many thrilling moments in her career in the Clipper gymnasium.

She added another on Thursday night as she went over the 1,000-point mark for her career in a 56-47 loss to Youngstown Ursuline.

Muslovski scored 25 points on the evening in addition to getting four steals and four assists. She needed 13 points to reach 1,000 and achieved the milestone in the second quarter. She now has 1,012 points for her career.

Ursuline’s Dayshonette Harris, a University of Pittsburgh recruit, showed why she is one of the best in the area with 24 points.

Grace Hammond added 11 points and six rebounds for the Clippers, 0-2. Columbiana was down by one point with less than two minutes to play.

Kennedy Fullum had seven rebounds.
