Clippers survive Jackson-Milton

NORTH JACKSON–Columbiana rallied in the second half to knock off coach Dave Crismon’s old team as the Clippers edged Jackson-Milton 39-35 in girls basketball action Monday.

The Clippers are now 13-3 overall. The Bluejays fall to 7-8.

Columbiana trailed 19-12 at halftime before moving in front with a 15-4 third quarter.

Kayla Muslovski led the Clipeprs with 12 points and five assists. Kennedy Fullum logged nine points and seven rebounds. Tessa Liggett added eight points. Troi Long had five steals.

Crismon served as an assistant at Jackson-Milton before taking over as head coach at Columbiana this season.

In jv action Jackson-Milton won 23-12.

Columbiana is at Toronto Thursday.
