Vuletich powers Reserve

BERLIN CENTER — Western Reserve improves to 10-1 on the season by downing Jackson-Milton, 57-26, in Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference play Thursday.

Dani Vuletich led the Blue Devils with 20 points, 16 coming in the first quarter, along with 15 rebounds and six blocks.

Laura Sigworth scored 10 of her 14 points in the third quarter andhad three asssits. Kennedy Miller had seven assists.

Western Reserve opened up a 46-14 lead after three quarters.

Jackson-Milton was led by Grace McDevitt with 13 points.

Western Reserve also won the two-quarter junior varsity game, 20-17. Emma Heater had seven points for the Blue Devils. Kylie Wilson had 12 for the Bluejays.

Western Reserve will play at Rootstown on Saturday.

SEBRING–Alexa Harkins scored 36 points as Mineral Ridge downed Sebring 55-33 in girls basketball action Thursday.

Emma Whaley led the Trojans with 10 points. Kyleisha Jays added eight points.

Sebring is at Lady of Elms Saturday.
