Mr. and Mrs. Ray Zepernick Jr. mark 50th wedding anniversarynniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Zepernick Jr. of 950 Prospect St., Salem, were honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house reception on Feb. 7 at the First Friends Church.
The former Linda Kay Votaw and Mr. Zepernick were married on Feb. 5, 1966, by the Rev. Harold B. Winn at the church.
Mr. Zepernick retired from the Salem Fire Department in 1998. He is currently a lab courier at Salem Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Zepernick is a homemaker and previously was employed at Heck’s and Big Wheel.
Mr. and Mrs. Zepernick are members of the church and Friends of Corvair Car Club. They both graduated from West Branch High School.
The Zepernicks have two children, Ray Zepernick III of Seven Hills and Sherry Bettis of Salem. They also have five grandchildren,
Approximately 100 guests attended the festivities that were hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Scott Bettis.
The couple is planning a trip later this year.
