Lauren Nicole Rockhold weds 1st Lt. William Hoobler Prosko
The Old Stone Chapel in Canton was the site of the wedding of Lauren Nicole Rockhold and 1st Lt. U.S. Army William Hoobler Prosko.
The bridegroom’s uncle, Mark Hoobler, officiated at the couple’s double-ring ceremony at 3 p.m. Feb. 14.
The bride is the daughter of Ken and Vicki Rockhold, 32975 Lucille Lane, Lisbon.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mark and MaryAnnProsko of Mechanicstown Road, Hanoverton.
Nuptial music was provided by the Silver Strings Trio and vocal selections by Katy Miller, the bridegroom’s cousin.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory, strapless mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline, lace applique with crystal and pearl beadwork and a scalloped cathedral-length train. Her bouquet contained blush hydrangeas, ivory roses and pearl accents.
Claudia Rockhold of Lisbon, the bride’s sister, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids included Amanda Horton of Towanda, Pa.; Emmy Prosko of Fort Lee, Va., and Ruth Prosko of Chicago, Ill., the bridegroom’s sisters; Maggie Miller of Salem, the bridegroom’s cousin; Crystal Richards of Salem; Viveka Gondha of Charlotte, N.C.; Hailey Carpenter of Eagle River, Ark., the bride’s cousin; Alexis Henninger of Clymer, Pa.; and Jessica Carnes of New Mexico.
Layla Carnes was the flower girl.
Andy Miller, the bridegroom’s cousin, was the best man.
Ushers includes Broghan Carnes of New Mexico; Andrew Rodriguez of Georgia; Patrick Harris of Tennessee; Austin Barr of Colorado; Brendan Brye of Texas; Brent Bergman of Chester, W. Va.; Eric Sluss of Georgia; Chad Littlejohn and Joe Clark.
Ring bearers were David Prosko, the bridegroom’s nephew; and Logan Williams.
Sabre bearers included Justin Schaaf, Sean Boyle, Donnie Byerly, Derek Sipperly, Daniel Hinkson, Brad Kelly, Josh Jones and Jack Finan, all first lieutenants.
Approximately 185 guests attended the reception at the McKinley Grand Hotel.
The bride, a 2010 graduate of United Local High School, graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse.
Mr. Prosko graduated in 2008 from United Local. He also graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Special guests included Virginia Burns of Mesa, Ariz., the bride’s grandmother.
The couple honeymooned at the Moorea Pearl Resort in Tahiti and reside in Clarksville, Tenn.
