Regional Chamber hosts first clambake
YOUNGSTOWN The Regional Chamber will hold its first clambake at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at The Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road, Poland.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour on the Rose Garden lawn followed by a 6 p.m. dinner in the Veranda Room, and live music from 6:45 until 9 p.m. The music will be provided by the Calypso Gypsies Steel Drum Band which features a Caribbean-style mix of Jimmy Buffet, Santana, Harry Belafonte, Bob Marley and others.
The menu includes an apple salad, one dozen clams per person, roasted quarter chickens, mini corn on the cob with melted butter, steamed redskins with herbs, cornbread and strawberry shortcake. Coffee, tea ice tea, soft drinks, beer and wine are included.
The food, drink, music and Lake Club setting should provide an ideal atmosphere for professional networking.

A $1,000 entertainment sponsorship includes a table of eight, one 8-foot display table with linen, a speaking opportunity and recognition on Chamber website.
