Congressman Johnson works with elementary students

Last Friday, Congressman Bill Johnson volunteered in Mahoning County at B.L. Elementary School in Sebring as part of his pledge to volunteer in all 18 counties he represents in 2019. Johnson will assisted volunteers with the Ohio Reading and Math Corps by reading with, and tutoring students. Beginning on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Jan. 21), Johnson pledged to volunteer, and encouraged others to do the same, for various projects and causes. This year, Johnson will volunteer and serve in all 18 counties he represents. Martin Luther King, Jr Day is the only holiday observed as a national day of service, and was a natural starting point for this effort. (Submitted photo)
