A “genuine” unicorn was one of many highlights for children Saturday during the fall-themed Quakerfest held throughout downtown Salem. The popular event was presented by the Salem Chamber of Commerce as part of its Salem Second Saturday theme. Many downtown merchants participated, giving out complimentary items including snacks for the kids and adults. Shown here are family members, from left, 4-year-old Lahaila Shell and 6-year-old Justice Scott of Salem. (Salem News photo by J.D. Creer)
