SEBRING — The death of a Sebring woman struck by a train Monday night remains under investigation.

The Canfield post of the highway patrol is investigating the death of 60-year-old Susan Pinto of Sebring, who was struck by a westbound Norfolk Southern train at approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday at the South 15th Street crossing.

According to the highway patrol, Pinto was walking southbound when she entered the path of the train. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
