The Columbiana County Health District reports as of 9:30 a.m. this morning, there have been eight additional positive COVID-19 cases including two deaths. The deaths were a 55-year-male who was an inmate at the Elkton Federal Prison and an 84-year-old female who was a long-term care facility resident. They both had underlying health conditions. There have been a total of 234 positive cases including 23 in long-term facilities and 62 in the federal prison. The number of confirmed deaths including a probable now stands at 22 including eight in long-term care and seven in the prison. The data may not be reflected in the totals released today by the Ohio Dept. of Health and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
