WB board approves administrative contracts
BELOIT – The West Branch school board Thursday night approved multiple administrative contracts.
The board approved three-year administrative contracts to Micki Egli as director of special services at an annual salary of $84,838; Robert Graham as elementary principal at an annual salary of $78,942; Fredrick Schlueter as intermediate principal at an annual salary of $78,942; and Evelyn Woods as high school assistant principal at an annual salary of $81,012.
In other business, the board accepted the resignation of Ellie Geiger as athletic director effective June 30 and Joyce (Kathy) Reichenbach from latchkey; approved continuing certificated contracts to Angie Mullinix and Julie McConnell; and hired Teresa L. Emmerling as a consultant on an as needed basis for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years effective May 26 for up to no more than 24 hours per week at the rate of $30 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
The board also agreed to pay 50 percent of the 2019-2020 spring sports supplemental contracts for head coaches and 25 percent for assistant coaches in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In other business, the board authorized schools Superintendent Timothy Saxton to proceed with the high school/middle school driveway repair project which includes the design for the repairs and solicitation of proposals to complete the repairs at no more than $50,000, and to obtain three or more estimates for the project.
Additionally the board accepted donations totaling $1,941.13 and recommended to pay Audiax Communications for material, equipment and labor to replace the existing antenna and cable for the radio communications repeater at the tower site in the amount of $7918.61
