In order to show its support over the efforts of the past months during the COVID-19 pandemic, corporate at Windsor House at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana put together a parade Friday to not only thank the staff, but to give the residents a chance to see family that they haven’t seen since March. Close to 100 vehicles, including the fire trucks and police cars, drove by as residents and staff sat outside to wave to them. For about a half hour, residents received signs, snacks and blown kisses from friends and family who chose to drive by. Activity director Leslie Snyder and other aides helped the residents identify their family and friends in order to have a more personal moment.
