Painted Rock Garden ‘grows’ at Memorial Park

An attraction at the west entrance to the nature trail at Waterworth Memorial Park has been the Painted Rock Garden. Citizens of all ages have been painting rocks — some with patriotic and inspirational themes — and placing them in the garden for visitors to enjoy. The rocks are meant to be left in place and not redistributed. Those interested, especially with children and grandchildren, are encouraged to get creative and place their own rocks.
