Area children 10 and under participated in an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at Waterworth Memorial Park. The event was

co-sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwood Realty-Services Salem and the Salem Parks and Recreation Dept. There were three age divisions. The Easter Bunny was a special guest. Top photo, the youngest children take off to scoop up eggs in one of the three age divisions. The youngest children were permitted to have parental assistance during their search for eggs. In the above photo, 3-year-old Alana Sneltzer gets some instruction from her big sister, 12-year-old Mikayla, prior to the start of the hunt for toddlers. (Salem News photos by J.D. Creer)
