Little Free Library and Little Gallery dedication held at Burchfield site

The Little Free Library and Little Gallery were dedicated Saturday as part of a Mother’s Day open house event on the Burchfield Homestead lands on Fourth Street in Salem. Salem Girls Scouts Troop 80774 members thought up the Little Free Library project. Grant Menough, back, left, an award-winning artist recreated scenes from acclaimed artist Charles Burchfield’s artwork on all sides of the Little Free Library. Burchfield Homestead Society member and carpenter Ron Roberts, back, right, built the structure.
