St. Paul School plans Mother’s Day fundraiser
SALEM — St. Paul School will host a Mother’s Day Drive Thru fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday behind the school. The school will be offering unique gifts such as gorgeous 10-inch ($20) and 12-inch ($30) hanging flower baskets and ferns, wax warmers ($10), and wax melts ($1-$3) in a variety of scents.
Tickets for the “Christmas in July Raffle” will be on sale during the event or may be purchased by contacting the school at 330-337-3451. The raffle runs from May 3 through July 25 with 74 chances to win prizes of $25 to $500! The price is $20 per ticket or two tickets for $30.
Food to purchase will include Ms. Carla’s famous pepperoni rolls ($2 each–made right here by Ms. Carla at the school), slices of Pellman’s Gourmet Cheesecake ($3 each), and Decorate-a-cookie kits ($1) containing a baked cookie, frosting, sprinkles, and an adorable little frosting spoon so children can decorate and enjoy their own treat.
St. Paul School students worked very hard to contribute to this fundraiser by making crafts for sale, including flowers planted in small ceramic planters ($5), custom mini decorative bird houses ($2), and 3-D printed items including small cookie cutters ($1) and decorated ball point pens ($1).
In order to help serve the community, the school will accept donations of non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army and donations of cleaning supplies or baby wipes for the Centre San Pablo at St. Paul Parish.
The public is welcome and encouraged to drive thru by entering from Ohio Avenue and exiting right onto Pershing Street.
