LEETONIA–Two water line breaks caused alarm Wednesday.

Village Administrator Gary Phillips reported Wednesday evening while a water main leak close to Elm Street was being repaired another leak appeared in front of Woods-Rettig Funeral Home on Summit Street.

In order to avoid leaving 17 residents without water for the night, Mayor Kevin Siembida advised to keep the leak under pressure.

Phillips and Siembida are advising residents there is a boil alert in effect until further notice.

A small leak in front of the funeral home will be repaired Thursday.
