Hundreds of area children participated Saturday in the 45th annual Kids Day hosted by the Leetonia Sportsman’s Club. The free event was open for children ages 5-through-18. Instructors provided guidance. Shooting, fishing and archery contest were held with prizes awarded. A wiener roast was held. The event was supported by the Leetonia Police Dept., the Ohio Division of Wildlife, National Turkey Federation, Inc., Ohio State Trapper’s Association, Buckeye Big Buck Club, the Columbiana County Federation of Conservation Clubs, Mahoning Valley Friends of NRA and the Tuscarawas Valley Friends of NRA.
