Organizations joining ADAPT included United Healthcare Community Plan, The Tri-State Young Marines, State Highway Patrol, Project DAWN and KLG Ambulance. Community members and area schools are invited to participate in spirit week themes throughout the week. Some of this years themes include “Black Out Drugs” encouraging residents to wear black and another theme “My Team is Drug Free” to show off favorite sports team attire. “A drug free community is a strong community,” ADAPT of Columbiana County Coordinator at Family Recovery Center Lisa Wallace said. Wallace explained the idea is to instill a message of drug free living in children.
