Salem gas line work to resume

Columbia Gas of Ohio announced that the project to install 700 feet of new mainline in Salem on State Street between Sharp Avenue and Dodge Drive was supposed to begin Monday and is expected to last two to three weeks, with flaggers on-site to get motorists through safely. Disruptions are expected to the normal flow of traffic during work hours. This project was originally set for last fall but was delayed due to traffic concerns with a movie shooting nearby which closed part of the bypass for a few weeks.
