Hundreds of children and their guardians attended the 46th annual Hunting & Fishing Kid’s Day Saturday. The event was hosted by the Leetonia Sportsman’s Club and promotes safety and sportsmanship. It was free for ages 5-16. There was shooting, fishing and archery contests with prizes. All-you-can-eat hot dogs were served. Sponsors included the Leetonia Police Dept., Ohio Division of Wildlife, National Wild Turkey Federation, Inc., Ohio State Trapper’s Association, Buckeye Big Buck Club, Columbiana County Federation of Conservation Clubs, Mahoning Valley Friends of NRA, Tuscarawas Valley Friends of NRA and Sports Fish & Wildlife Restoration.
