Crews battled fire in Green Township

Per media partner WKBN, multiple fire crews battled a structure fire in Green Township Sunday morning.

First responders were alerted shortly before 5 a.m. for a fire on the 10000 block of Youngstown-Salem Road. According to officials, wind pushed the major fire from the west side of the house to the east.

Almost all of the roof has caved in due to significant damage. Officials said everyone made it out of the home safely. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
