Going to the chamber to get married: Noel now performs wedding

LISBON – The Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce now offers a unique and special service to area residents — weddings.

The chamber board recently approved Executive Director Judy Noel to perform wedding services during office hours at the Chamber.

“I’m an ordained minister and have performed hundreds of weddings,” Noel said. “Quite often couples don’t want a huge ceremony, opting for something simple. Given the close proximity to the courthouse where couples receive their marriage licenses, the Chamber office is a great place for a quiet, intimate ceremony while helping a great cause.”

Noel donates 100% of all proceeds of her officiant fees to the Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) Scholarship Fund which benefits Lisbon students seeking post-secondary education.

The chamber office is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Advance notice to exchange vows inside the chamber office is not required but preferred as Noel likes to make each wedding she performs is uniquely tailored to each couple.

“I prefer to have a little bit of time to prepare for a ceremony as I like to personalize each service,” she said.

Couples interested in using the chamber’s nuptial services are asked to call Noel at 330-424-1803.

In addition to being an ordained minister, Noel is also an Ohio Certified Notary. Fees charged for notary work performed at the Chamber during office hours will also be donated to the LACC Scholarship Fund.

Starting at $2.99/week.
