Sweet strawberry swelter

Despite the heat, patrons didn’t mind the long lines leading to the benefit barbecued dinner Sunday morning at the Winona Strawberry Festival. Diners could choose from a variety of side dishes, homemade desserts and hot sandwiches while attending the event on the grounds of the Winona Meeting House. The event benefits the Winona Area Historical Society and its projects.
