The Salem Summer Concert Series opens at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Orashan Memorial Civic Center at aterworth Memorial Park. Well-known local artist John Reese will be entertaining with six musicians that include guest soloist and Youngstown native, Arielle Green. Admission is free. Tickets will be sold for a 50/50 drawing and prizes donated by local businesses. Bring your lawn chairs. A food vendor will be available for you to purchase snacks and soft drinks or you may bring your own picnic. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park.
