Bunker Hill aids West Branch students

For the second consecutive year, Bunker Hill United Methodist’s Mission Committee agreed to donate August’s mission money to “Let’s Feed a Child.” This year Bunker Hill donated $1,620 to the West Branch Local School District, which surpassed last year’s donation of $1,506. The church’s goal is to help assure that students in West Branch aren’t going hungry. “We are absolutely humbled by the generosity of the families, individuals, United Methodist Women and Goshen Ruritans in helping to support “Feed the Children” mission project,” said Pat Coy on behalf of the mission committee. Bunker Hill is located at 15096 W. Middletown Road, Beloit, and, in addition to providing lunches to the students for local ministry, they also host the Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning County on the second Friday of every month.
