Drug Free Team a success at CCCTC

The Drug Free Team, in its second year at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center (CCCTC), is seeing great success again. This is evident by the continued support of The Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition (MVMC). The MVMC has always been a strong supporter of the CCCTC since the MVMC represent the businesses that are looking to hire well-trained and well-qualified employees. Students who pledge to be drug free and are able to pass drug tests upon hiring makes it easier for companies looking to hire skilled workers. Jessica Borza, executive director of MVMC, presents a check for $1,000 to Drug Free Team student representative and CCCTC student ambassador, Luke Chetok, a Beaver Local student from the Precision Machining and Manufacturing Program. Also pictured, from left, are Jordan Williams, CCCTC principal; Jeremy Corbisello, CCCTC director and assistant superintendent; student ambassador Dylan Judy, a United Local student from the automotive technology program; and school resource officer William McGee. The generous donation will be used to purchase incentives for members of the Drug Free Team. (Submitted photo)
