Salem native wins Cleveland acting award

Salem native Landon Talbert has won the 2018 Broadway World Regional Award (Cleveland) for “Best Actor in a Musical” for his role in the Millennial Theatre Company’s production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Talbert played the role of Pontius Pilate in the August 2018 production. theatergoers. Regional productions, touring shows and more were all included in the awards, honoring productions which opened between Oct. 1, 2017, through Sept. 30, 2018. This year the BroadwayWorld Regional Awards are bigger and better than ever, including over 100 cities across America, Canada, Central and South America, Europe, and Asia.
