COLUMBUS — State Sen. Mike Rulli, R-Leetonia, has received his first committee assignments.

Sen. President Larry Obhof, R-Medina, named Rulli as vice chairman of the finance/general government and agency review committee and a member of the energy and public utilities, local government, public safety and veterans safety, and transportation, commerce and workforce committees.

“I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues to ensure that the bills that come before these committees are properly vetted and will improve the lives of all Ohioans,” said Rulli, in a news release.

“I strongly encourage anyone who wants to be involved in the committee process, or has questions or concerns regarding any of the bills we are considering, to contact my office at any time. I look forward to working with you,” he concluded.
