Lisbon students hear RESPECT message

David Anderson Jr/Sr High School and McKinley Elementary School hosted Elec Simon before Spring Break in a student assembly. Simon and his fellow performers promoted a message of RESPECT to students: respect for themselves, parents, and teachers. Simon is a member of Q-Stix, the band that plays at Cleveland Cavaliers home games and with the touring production of STOMP. Both groups create percussion instruments from garbage cans, and other household items. The Elec Simon assembly at David Anderson Jr/Sr High School was of many organized by the Student Leadership under the leadership of Carrie Smith. Other activities at the junior/senior high school included Safe School, Team Building activities, State Highway Patrol and the speaker Michael Ross who spoke to the students about becoming successful.
