Aut Mori Grotto to host breakfast June 22
YOUNGSTOWN — Aut Mori Grotto will host its monthly Pancake and Sausage Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon June 22 at the Aut Mori Grotto Banquet Hall, 563 North Belle Vista Ave. The Menu includes (all you can eat, pancakes only), link sausage, home fries, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, coffee and juice. Cost is $6 for adults; $3 for children under 11 years of age; and children under 3 eat free.
Aut Mori Grotto will also host a Swiss Steak Dinner from noon to 4 p.m. or until sold out Aug. 11 at the Aut Mori Grotto Banquet Hall. Menu includes Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, salad, bread and butter, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years of age. Portion of proceeds benefit local Grotto charities.
The Aut Mori Grotto is a 501c(3) non-profit organization comprised of Master Masons, that contributes to local charities such as Akron Children’s Hospital, Sojourners House, Cerebral Palsy and Dentistry for Challenged children under the age of 17. Deerfield dance slated
for Monday at town hall
DEERFIELD — The Deerfield Historical Society’s third Monday dance will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. June 17 at the Town Hall, 1450 state Route 14. Live music will be provided by the Deerfield House Band and refreshments will be available for purchase. Admission is $4.
Weingart Cousins hold gathering at Adele’s
SALEM– The Weingart Cousins met recently at Adele’s Restaurant. The next breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. July 3.
Historical Society to host meet and greet Tuesday
DAMASCUS– The Damascus Area Historical Society will host a “Meet and Greet” at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Pearce House, 28959 Salem Alliance Road. Honored guest/s will be high school graduates who received the Meiter Scholarship. Business meeting to follow.
