ALLIANCE–The Alliance Balsa Bees will present their eighth annual World War I Dawn Patrol Fly-In from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the northeast end of Barber Airport, three miles north of Alliance off state Route 225.

There will be all types of World War I aircraft featured at the event.

Dawn Patrol planes will be lined up on the field at noon so visitors can view them and ask the pilots questions. Afterward, visitors can vote for their favorite plane.

Tickets will be given to spectators when they arrive. Tickets will also be available at the pavilion. Planes are numbered and the number of the favorite plane should be written on the ticket. The winning pilot will receive the People’s Choice plaque.

Food and drinks will be available at the Crash and Burn Grille.
