Calla Community Church, lawn festival, 4:30 p.m., rain or shine, 6482 W. Calla Road, between state Route 46 and Lisbon Road near the Haus’ Cider Mill. Food includes sloppy joes, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, salads, baked beans, pies and cakes. Cost for the food is a free will donation. All the money raised goes toward local mission work. Carryout containers will be available. Raffle tickets will be available for $1 each or six for $5. Grand prize is a hand-pieced quilt, a double and hand-quilted by the ladies of the church as their winter project. There will be a Country Store as a fund raiser for the Women’s Missionary Society.
