CARROLLTON — The Guardians, a male Southern gospel quartet from Columbus, Ohio, will present a concert at 6:30 p.m. today at the Carrollton Bible Chapel, 365 Steubenville Road S.E. For admission guests are asked to provide two food items for the local food pantry, Loaves and Fishes. A love offering will also be received and a drawing held for a Guardians CD. LEETONIA –Jesus the Key Ministries has three bus trips planned for this fall. First is the newest destination of Washington DC, Sept. 10-12. The group will visit the Memorials at the National Mall and tour the new Bible Museum. In October the group will be going to the Ark again, then to Amish Country. The group will visit the Creation Museum and Noah’s Ark on Oct. 1 and 2. There will also be a day trip to Sugarcreek (Amish Country) where the group will take in the show “Tis Christmas” on Oct. 24. NORTH LIMA–Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., will hold a Drive-thru Chicken Dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out Sept. 12. Dinner will include a stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost of the dinner is $7. Reserve dinners by calling 330-549-2588 (leave message).

COLUMBIANA–The Oasis Food Ministry will be holding a food distribution from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 12 and 26 at First Christian Church, 39 Cherry St. Anyone 60 or older may come from 1 to 2 p.m. Sept. 26.

LEETONIA–Leetonia First United Methodist Church, 50 Lisbon St., will hold its monthly drive by chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out Sept. 19. The meal includes mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffed chicken breast, green beans and a brownie. To reserve a dinner, call 330-427-6856 between 2 and 4 p.m. and give name and number, how many dinners to be held back and time that they will be picked up.

BELOIT–East Goshen Friends Church will celebrate National Back to Church Sunday with its 10:30 a.m. worship service Sept. 15. Visitors are encouraged to bring their family and friends to the morning service with an opportunity to meet the church’s new pastor, Joshua White. He and his family recently came to East Goshen from Kentucky and visitors are welcome, whether looking for a place to worship or simply want to “Come Back to Church.” A community dinner will follow the service.

CANFIELD– Canfield Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 123 S. Broad St., will hold its third annual Alice Johns Memorial Block Party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 21. There will be games for all ages with prizes and food.

SALEM–Friends of the Banquet will sponsor The Banquet in Salem from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Building. COLUMBIANA– Columbiana First United Friends Church will host a gospel concert with Royce Taylor at 7 p.m. Sunday. A free will offering will be collected.
