SALEM/SEBRING–Brown Funeral Home and Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home are introducing a new option for bereaved families–an online funeral planning and collaboration center.

To make the funeral planning process as simple as possible, Brown Funeral Home and Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home has partnered with Passare Inc., a software company that is helping to improve the funeral planning experience. Families are now able to log on and start making arrangements from anywhere, at any time, using any Internet-connected device. The collaboration center allows families to work together to select service preferences, submit necessary information, and work on the obituary. The family also can receive important updates in real time from the funeral home.

“The service is especially helpful when family members want to stay up-to-date and connected while traveling in from out of town,” says Chris Brown, co-owner of Brown Funeral Home’s. “And families who are caring for a loved one during their final days can stay by the bedside while we work together to plan a personalized tribute.”

“We are delighted to partner with Brown Funeral Home and Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home to enhance their service to families,” said Jay Thomas, VP and CEO of Passare, Inc. “[Co-owners Chris Brown and David Peterson]’s dedication to the families they serve is very evident. The fact that they are willing to be a visionary in this profession demonstrates just how much they really care about the evolving needs of their communities. It is a pleasure to partner with Chris and David to bring new and innovative solutions to the families they serve.”

This new service is offered to families free of charge and is available immediately. To learn more contact Chris Brown at cabrown126@outlook.com.
