HANOVERTON- United FFA attended the 92nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis at the end of October, with 15 chapter members and one American Degree recipient going. While at the Nationals, the United FFA attended three sessions- at one of which Courtney Cooper, daughter of Becky and Doug Cooper, received her American Degree. To receive an American Degree an FFA member needs to have their State Degree, been graduated out of high school for at least one year, and has to invest or  have made over $10,000 into their projects.

In addition, the FFA Chapter went bowling on the first night of being in Indianapolis. They also took a tour of the Indianapolis Speedway and got the chance to kiss the famous bricks of the Brickyard 400. In addition, the United Chapter went to the Cinch All-stars Rodeo held at Indiana State Fairgrounds.
