Area students earn scholarships from Baldwin Wallace University

BEREA – Students from the area were among more than 660 students who earned scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University this fall. The following local students earned scholarships:

Jianna Herhold of Leetonia, a graduate of Leetonia High School majoring in music education, earned the E.S. & M.R. Griffiths Scholarship.

Ashtyn Morris of Salem, a graduate of Salem High School majoring in English, earned the Dr. Harold D. Cole Scholarship.

Emily Robb of Alliance, a graduate of West Branch High School majoring in accounting and finance, earned the Alan McDorman ’93 Memorial Scholarship and the William & Mary Smithett Scholarship.

Megan Rossero of Salem, a graduate of Salem High School majoring in biology, earned the Dr. Dante Scarpelli Scholarship.

Grace Skolosh of Salem, a graduate of West Branch High School majoring in communication studies, earned the Donna Fry Scholarship (Public Relations – Communications), the Eleanore Miller Gillig Scholarship and the Lloyd & Mildred Hoffman Scholarship.

Kane Zellers of Salem, a graduate of Salem High School majoring in public health, earned the Paul S. Obney Scholarship.

BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including named, merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $57 million in financial support from the University for the 2019-2020 academic year.
