MSVC-MOAA recognizes local veterans

At a recent meeting of the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MSVC-MOAA),

LTC Rod Hosler, a representative of the from the Mahoning County Veterans Service Commission, presented a Vietnam Veterans Lapel Pin to eligible Chapter member residing in Mahoning County. The purpose of the pin is to recognize, thank and honor United States military veterans who served during the Vietnam War. Of the 9 million Americans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, 7 million veterans are still living and are eligible to receive this recognition pin regardless of their service location.
