Community Hospice plans Volunteer Open House
SALEM– Community Hospice will hold a Volunteer Open House from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at Community Hospice Salem Office, 2341 E. State St. The event is open to anyone interested in volunteering, and current volunteers are welcome to stop in and bring a friend.
Community Hospice needs highly motivated and compassionate individuals who want to make a difference by volunteering their time. Volunteer Teams offer many opportunities to share gifts and talents. People may be interested in helping patients, working with military veterans, fundraising, helping in the office, sewing/crafts, Pet Therapy Services, or a variety of other ways.
Community Hospice is currently looking for pet therapy animals, hair and nails volunteer, music or art volunteers, fundraiser volunteers and facility visit/ home visit volunteers.
