SLYP to present ‘Legally Blonde’ musical

LISBON– Stage Left Youth Players present “Legally Blonde the Musical Jr” at the Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way in downtown Lisbon at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Jan. 10, 11, 17 and 18 and 2 p.m. Sundays Jan. 13 and 19. The production is directed by Kandace Cleland and Jodine Pilmer and features a cast of 31 youth, grades 7 through 12 who hail from Lisbon, Salem, Hanoverton, Calcutta, Elkton and Canfield.

The youth players spent some intensive days in rehearsal during their holiday break to learn the vocals and choreography tell the story of Elle Woods as she takes on Harvard Law and tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Admission is $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for students and reservations can be made online at StageLeftPlayers.org. Tickets will be on sale at the door. Season ticket holders should email StageLeftSeats@yahoo.com to reserve their seats.
