BERLIN CENTER– Brandon Quear was presented the Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club Spirit Award. Assisting with the presentation were Isabel Schors, Collin Meehan, Natalia Kresic and Camille Kirk.

4-H Queen Natalia Kresic described some of the activities she participated in at the Ohio Fairs Queen Competition in Columbus early in January. Natalia was one of 15 queens selected as simi-finalists. There were over 80 queens participating in the competition that is part of the 94th Annual Fair Managers Convention.

Alaina Courtright and Natalia assisted with one of the sessions at the convention. It was led by Kim Moff, Canfield Junior Fair Manager, Beth Smith and Kristen Eisenhauer, both Extension Educators, 4-H Youth Development, Mahoning County and titled “Captivating the Crowd.”

Three new members were welcomed. They are Lucy Sienerth, Justin Feorene and Tony Schrem. Members made Valentines that will be distributed to area Veterans by the local VFW.

The club will meet again at 7 p.m. Feb. 13 in the Ellsworth Fire Hall. Enrollment Forms are due to the advisors at this meeting. Election of 2020 officers will be on the meeting agenda.
