Tutorial on Tinkercad software offered in Salem
SALEM– Learn to use Tinkercad to design, develop and create 3D designs at 2 or 6:30 p.m. today in the Salem Public Library’s Quaker Room. Bring own device and use the tutorial during class to learn how to use this software. Bring your own device to practice on. Seating is limited and registration is required. The class is provided through a Guiding Ohio Online grant made by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the State Library of Ohio.
Messy Church planned at East Goshen Friends
BELOIT- East Goshen Friends Church, 16800 state Route 165, will host its monthly Messy Church from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday entitled Lovin’ in the Neighborhood. Messy Church is an all age worship experience that explores God’s love in an accessible way. This month participants will create, learn and celebrate together with a focus on serving and loving others. The event will end with a meal together. Monday dance planned at Deerfield Town Hall
DEERFIELD– The Deerfield Historical Society’s third Monday dance will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Deerfield Town Hall, 1450 state Route 14. The Deerfield House Band will entertain with a variety of music for dancing and listening pleasure. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Admission is $4.
Salem Music Study Club to meet Feb. 19
SALEM– The Salem Music Study Club will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 the Emmanuel Lutheran Church educational building, 251 S. Broadway Ave. There will be a brief meeting about old business and new business, followed by a program on opera presented by Anna Anderson. Refreshments will be served afterwards. The club will be discussing and listening to great music. The club is also celebrating Founder’s Day, which makes it a special meaningful music club program for the national and state federation of music clubs. Members and listening guests are not only needed but recommended for the group’s purpose and survival. The club is affiliated with the National Federation of Music Clubs and the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs.
Blood drive set March 14 at SRMC
SALEM– The Salem Regional Medical Center will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4. The drive will be held in SRMC’s Tower Conference Room, located on the hospital’s ground floor concourse. Individuals who have not given blood since Jan. 8 are eligible to donate.

Live music offered Sunday afternon at library
SALEM– The Salem Public Library will host “A Little Live Music” entertainment featuring musicians John Volio and Dave Byers from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Adult Reading Room on the library’s upper level.
