Canfield AARP meeting canceled
CANFIELD– The June 1 meeting of Canfield AARP Chapter #3104 has been canceled.
New Lisbon Lodge to host dinner
LISBON– New Lisbon Lodge 65 will hold a carryout Stuffed Chicken Breast Dinner from 4 p.m. until the meals run out June 6. The dinner will be served with mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetables, rolls, and Homemade strawberry shortcake. The cost for the meal is $12. Credit cards and cash will be accepted.

CFCC to offer appointments
SALEM– Beginning June 1, the Columbiana Family Care Center (CFCC) will offer walk-in appointments during regular office hours for those with a variety of minor illnesses or injuries. The CFCC practice provides comprehensive, personalized care to patients of all ages, and offers services such as preventive medicine, newborn and pediatric care, diabetic and cardiac care and acute illness care.
No COVID-19-related services or testing will be available at the CFCC office. Individuals with flu or respiratory symptoms can be seen at Salem Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department or the Acute Flu/Coronavirus Clinic located at the Hospital.
In order to help ensure the health and well-being of patients and staff during their visit, the practice has implemented several enhanced safety precautions. These measures include a reconfigured waiting area and scheduling that promotes social distancing, in addition to frequent sanitization of chairs, exam tables and patient care areas. Patients are asked to wear a mask to the office to help maintain the health and safety of all patients and caregivers.
The Columbiana Family Care Center is located in the TownCenter at Firestone Farms at 116 Carriage Drive in Columbiana, and is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. A variety of other services are also available at this location, including the SRMC Medical Imaging Center at Firestone Farms Town Center, which provides 2D and 3D digital mammograms, bone density screenings (DEXA scans), ultrasounds, x-rays and a next generation CT scanner, for high-quality, faster imaging.
Patients of SCH Professional Corporation practices, including the Columbiana Family Care Center, can also see their providers online in the privacy of their own home by using the FollowMyHealth® Patient Portal. This telehealth service allows patients to have a secure and easy way to receive care from their healthcare team in a live, virtual visit using a smartphone (iPhone or Android), tablet or computer. Camp JCC to begin Monday
YOUNGSTOWN — Camp JCC will open Monday. The mandatory and best practice guidelines recommended by Gov. Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health will be followed.
Camp JCC is for campers in grades one to eight. Campers participate in daily activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, sports and swimming. Specialty camps that focus on a specific area of interest including Esports Competitive Video Gaming Camp, 3D Printing Camp, Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy† – Artist’s Passport, and Horseback Riding Camp are also available.
Housed at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, Camp JCC offers an indoor pool, gymnasium, and an outdoor pavilion. Campers will also visit the Logan Campus, which includes an outdoor pool.
Camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Morning and afternoon extended care options are available.
Camp JCC is open to everyone, and provides a safe, fun environment for campers to build lifelong friendships through exciting adventures and quality care.
