Columbiana HS grad earns law degree with honors from Capital
Angela M. Grate, a summa cum laude graduate of Columbiana High School and of Capital University, graduated from Emory Law School with honors and her Juris Doctorate degree May 10. While at Emory Law, Grate was selected as a member of the prestigious Emory Law Journal, where she wrote her Comment The Prescription for American Healthcare Cybersecurity. In her third year, ELJ honored her as Outstanding Notes and Comments Editor for Volume 69. After several legal internships and jobs, she has decided to return to work as an Associate at Adams and Reese, Atlanta, Ga., where she spent her 2L summer. Grate is the daughter of C. Sam and Deb Grate of Salem. She is married to Matthew Heim and resides in Atlanta.
