Strohecker honored as CCCTC Student of the Month
LISBON — Trinity Strohecker is the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center’s April Student of the Month.
Strohecker is a half-day CCCTC senior from Columbiana High School and is enrolled in the cosmetology program under the instruction of Christy Mays. Strohecker is a member of the CTSO SkillsUSA program where she has held officer positions for the past two years.
She is employed and has been working for two years at Columbiana Belleria and currently has an offer to work in a salon once she obtains her license. Her future plans are to work in a salon and with the hope to one day own her own mobile or traditional salon.
Strohecker completed her 150-hour summer internship at South Range Hair Studio and has completed the State Board of Cosmetology hour requirement.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Trinity is currently waiting to complete her Ohio State Board of Cosmetology test to earn her license.
She feels the CCCTC was a great choice for her stating, “I will have my State Board of Cosmetology License by the time I graduate high school and I will graduate with no debt!”
Strohecker was nominated by Mays stating, “Trinity understands the value of hard work and dedication. Her attendance is impeccable and she is always willing to be a part of our community service efforts.
“Her skill as a cosmetologist is extensive which reflects her growth mindset and willingness to try new things. Trinity has a bright future and will be successful in whatever path she chooses.”
Trinity is the daughter of Jolene and Mike Strohecker.
