Jones recognized for academic achievements
ALLIANCE – Ryleigh Jones of Salem was recognized at the Dewald Honors Celebration at the University of Mount Union for her academic achievements. Jones was awarded A.P. Rickard and Alice M. and Stanley T. Evans Freshman Prize.
The Dewald Honors Dinner is held annually in the fall at Mount Union. The purpose of the dinner is to recognize students who made the dean’s list in the previous year, students who participate in the Honors Program, Presidential Scholars, Investment Alliance Scholarship recipients and freshmen who have shown academic success during high school. The Dewald Honors Dinner is made possible by the late Dr. and Mrs. Donald W. Dewald (Eleanore Iman ’38) of Mansfield, Ohio.

Grindstaff receives Aultman College degree
CANTON –Bryce Grindstaff of Minerva received a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree (cum laude) on Sept. 4 during a drive-in graduation ceremony at Aultman College.
Harper earns dean’s list at Austin Peay
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.– Austin Peay State University recognized Brooke Harper from Columbiana as one of the students named to the dean’s list for academic achievement during the Summer 2020 terms. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or greater.
